Job Description:
The Corporate Security Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the company’s overall security strategy, ensuring the safety of employees, assets, and information. This role includes overseeing physical security, cybersecurity, and incident response plans.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures.
– Conduct risk assessments and ensure the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
– Manage a team of security professionals, including physical security and cybersecurity specialists.
– Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are aligned with business operations.
– Respond to security breaches and other incidents, conducting investigations as necessary.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
– 10+ years of experience in corporate security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
– Strong knowledge of physical security, cybersecurity, and risk management.
– Excellent leadership and communication skills.
– Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
